His only desire is to be with his people, going places, having adventures. He is as smart and kind and willing as they come. He is a HIGH energy dog and would love to retrieve all day. He has a very strong marking ability, incredible degree of athleticism and desire. Buck loves to hunt. No cover is too thick, water, mud, thick cat tails, nothing will keep him from recovering that duck! At the Randy Treasure Picnic Test in July of 2016 one of the judges of the day remarked “THAT is a duck dog”!! It was on that day out of a field of about 40 dogs of all ages that Buck was awarded “Gunners Choice Award” This award is rewarded to the dog demonstrating the greatest retrieving potential on that day.
